Specific interests include the distributed production of biodiesel from multiple feedstocks, as well as other sources of farm based energy such as hybrid coastal, corn stover, short rotation woody crops, solar, and others. As a result, a focus on combined heat and power as a mechanism to overcome the economic barriers of farm based energy production.
