Industrial Engineering Technology Program
Career Information
This program educates students to become industrial engineering technologists (IET) who work side-by-side with industrial engineers in companies to improve productivity and efficiency. Skills acquired by IET graduates have opened up doors in other fields also which seek to become competitive like healthcare, insurance, banking, and other service businesses.
Students have the option to seek professional certifications through the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) and the National Association of Industrial Technology (NAIT). The program can be undertaken as a minor in industrial supervision or business. Employment opportunities for students are in government, manufacturing, and service based organizations.
