Engineering Advisory Board
The Engineering Advisory Board (EAB) is an integral partner in providing guidance and direction for program operation, improvement, and development. The EAB meets twice per year (fall and spring) and is the primary vehicle to represent regional government, industry, and employers in development and review of the program objectives, outcomes, and assessment results. The Department of Engineering Assessment and Evaluation Plan specifies the following responsibilities for the EAB:
Fall Meeting:
- Review proposed curriculum changes that have been approved by the faculty.
- Review assessment results.
- Review the program objectives, approve or reject changes.
Spring Meeting:
- Representatives of EAB participate in capstone project evaluation.
- Members review and suggest changes in curriculum content (within committees of the EAB responsible for core and each concentration).

In addition, the EAB examines strategic department plans and directions related to areas such as development, industry involvement and concentration focus.
