Academic Advisement, Progression & Support

Use this website to read about academic advisement, progression and support. As students matriculate, they are classified by semester hours of credit as freshman, sophomore, junior, and senior. Students who entered through the General College will choose a major as they near completion of the foundations curriculum requirements or meet the requirements as specified in a selected degree program. Students admitted under the nontraditional student admissions policy may not declare a major until they have met published stipulations.

Cashier's Office

The primary purpose of this office is the billing, receiving, depositing, disbursing, accounting and the financial record keeping of student tuition, fees and related charges.

Computer Labs

The microcomputer labs at East Carolina University offer diverse levels of support for numerous applications on various platforms. Each lab will vary with regard to lab hours, technical support, hardware and software available. There should be a lab on campus that will meet your needs and expectations.

Office of the Registrar

The Office of the Registrar is responsible for the integrity of student records for the university, the planning and execution of registration of students each semester and summer session, assignment of classroom space for classes and meetings, issuing grades, issuing transcripts, certification of degree requirements for students, mailing diplomas to graduates, and maintenance of a computerized student database.
