Graduation

To graduate from East Carolina University, a student must:

  • Attend Advisor Meetings – Meet at least two semesters prior to your expected graduation date to complete a Senior Summary (planned path to graduation)
  • Keep Grade Point Average Requirements
    • Minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
    • Minimum 2.0 to 2.5 GPA in major (Check with Advisor)
  • Take Senior Survey – Complete the Senior Survey found through the student One Stop page.
  • Apply for Graduation – Fill out an Application for Graduation, the "yellow" card usually given at the time of senior summary completion, and it must be turned in at the Whichard Building Room 108 at least one semester prior to the expected graduation.  View Application for Graduation due dates.  

The Advising Center is a service available to all students, but it is the responsibility of the student to make sure that all degree requirements for graduation have been completed.
