The Center for Innovation in Technology & Engineering at East Carolina University promotes regional economic growth by involving our faculty in the regional business and industry activities. As a true university based outreach center, the CITE provides a cost effective alternative for specialized industrial training and project implementation.  The Center provides a portal between the College and the regional business community and with that, an opportunity for faculty to become engaged in projects that are beneficial on many levels.  The industry benefits by using a cost effective, regional resource.  The region benefits by using a local resource for problem definition and solution.  The Faculty benefits from direct contact with industry, and students gain through interactions with faculty in classrooms. Customer satisfaction is important to ECU and CITE.  CITE measures customer satisfaction and economic benefit of projects through customer feedback and surveys. More . . .
